Lynn is the Deputy President of the Women’s Chapter for the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP). Lynn is a co-founder of APEP. She holds a BCom and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from UCT and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Lynn’s experience is dual-focused, spanning four years of on-the-ground property development experience and an 8.5-year investment track record as ex Lead Portfolio Manager and ex Director of Edge Investments. Lynn Managed an R8bn South African Hedge Fund Portfolio for Edge Capital until 2017. Her decade long investment journey included fixed income, equity, soft commodities, property, and credit within the multi manager universe specific to Portable Alpha Equity Plus, Bond Plus and Moderate to High-Risk Profiles Mandates. She has an in-depth knowledge of FRA’s SWAP’s Gov Bonds and JIBAR linkers and was responsible for executing total return swaps, passive beta overlays and out-of-the-money option structures.

Jason is a co-founder of APEP. He is an entrepreneur at heart, with unrivalled deal sourcing capabilities. Jason holds a BCom and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from UCT and is a qualifies Chartered Accountant. He began his investment career at Coronation Fund Managers as an Equity Analyst. Prior to this, he was an audit manager at KPMG, in the Financial Services division. Post Coronation, Jason co-founded and actively managed Infinity Minerals & Resources Limited, a company holding a large-scale Copper prospecting mineral right currently being developed under a joint venture with Rio Tinto Mining and Exploration and Avior Trans Africa (Pty) Limited, a cold chain logistics and trading business focusing on SADC markets. Jason currently has non-executive roles in these businesses.
Michelle Diedericks
Director of Operations
Michelle officially joined the Apex Team in March 2022 as head of facilities management. Her track record spans from procurement to managing service providers. She brings 20 year relationships with reputable industry service providers. Michelle has worked for both local and global clients during her career. These clients include the University of Cape Town (UCT), Council for International Exchange Students (CIEE) and Mastercard foundation. Michelle will now work alongside JLL in managing one of our properties. Michelle also has a strong understanding of health and safety policies and related regulations.
Sibu Ganca

Company Secretary
Sibu is the head of finance and company secretary at APEP. Prior to this, he co-founded Herganful, a financial consulting firm with a focus in the financial services sector. Sibu completed his articles and was a manager at Deloitte in the FIST division. Sibu has completed engagements with with Foord Asset Management, African Harvest, General Reinsurance Africa, and a vast array of pension and provident funds. His consulting engagements include Solms-Delta, Boschendal and JCI limited. He is the chairman of Educo Africa, a 26-year strong youth development NGO with a focus on experiential learning and development. He is an accountant with an entrepreneurial outlook, and as such, is a solutions based individual. Sibu holds a Bcom in Accounting and Economics from UCT and a BCompt Hons (CTA) from UNISA.
